Why sponsor BauZ!?
Being a well-established experts’ meeting for Ecological Building, the BauZ! congresses have become part and parcel of the REED Bauen & Energie trade fair in Vienna. In this form, the congress takes places already for the 14th time.
This year, we are going to tie in with the October 2015 Paris Agreement and will focus on the question: What may change? What could and what has to change in order to reach the ambitious targets of decarbonization of the economy by 2050? Together with our international partners, i.e. the Finnish and the Canadian embassies in Vienna, as well as local partners, the 2017 BauZ! congress will promote the international exchange of knowledge.
With your sponsoring, you will provide us will valuable resources that we need for preparing this large event and will make your commitment to Ecological Building visible.
Our congress is a 3-day event and designed to enable informal encounters of participants also between presentations. The congress is a place of information and networking. A site visit and guided trade-fair tours will introduce the nearby and more distant congress surroundings, i.e. the “Bauen & Energie” trade fair and Vienna as a congress city. The goal of the project is information on and discussion about current and future developments in the realm of building that can make a contribution to reach the climate targets.

IBO (association), respectively IBO GmbH, have been holding annual congresses on topics relating to Ecological Building since 1984. Since 2004, the annual congresses have been organized every year in the framework of the Reed Bauen & Energie trade fair at Vienna Messezentrum.
